Genuine vs Fake: Liverpool Adidas 2010-2011-2012 Home Shirt

We have obtained a very good copy/fake it will be impossible to differentiate if not because of the unique style code. A genuine shirt will have P969763 code at the collar but the fake one has P47066 which is the style code for Argentina away shirt of the same season.

If the shirt is brand new with tags, you can identify it is fake if it is written REAL A JSY with code P95985. This is because the style code is reserved for Real Madrid away shirt of the same season.

Other than that are only cosmetics details which you won’t realize if you don’t have them side by side for comparison.

The fake shirt will have the LFC logo cut with bigger margin than the genuine shirt, and some parts are not even laser cut properly (in between the eternal flames either side of the club crest). The rubber hologram on lower left is also seem difficult to replicate to exact quality and detail. The sleeve elastic end is thinner than it should, the fine details on the sizing is of less quality, and the armpit fabric is somewhat less prominent. The hologram at the wash tag also looks cheap.

However these are all very fine details you won’t be able to differentiate without putting them side by side. The Standard Chartered sponsor is of similar quality, and even the fabric details are so similar you will be easily fooled to believe it is genuine.
